Every morning, NFL fans ponder whether today is the day that quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be traded. With rumors of a likely trade to the New York Jets more prominent than ever, nothing has been made official as of yet.
However, on Tuesday morning, reports surfaced that the former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard may now be on his way to the Jets. ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter was one of the first to report that Lazard could also be on his way to New York.
If and when the deal for Rodgers is done, he will likely reunite with his former wide receiver.
However, that wasn't all. Schefter also reported that the Jets could be zeroing in on wide receiver Randall Cobb as well. The latter is one of Rodgers' longest-running teammates.

NFL fans were shocked that the Green Bay Packers quarterback was possibly already orchestrating additional offensive pieces around him. On Twitter, fans reacted to the news and some even compared the quarterback to NBA star LeBron James.
Others started naming all of the quarterback's previous receivers over the years and suggested that the New York Jets just sign them as well. Others said that the quarterback is the new general manager of the Jets because of the moves that he is requiring the team to make.
Weird tweet sent from Aaron Rodgers' Twitter account on Monday night
Late on Monday night, NFL fans waited to hear any breaking news regarding quarterback Aaron Rodgers and a possible trade to the New York Jets. In the meantime, an interesting Tweet was sent by the quarterback on his Twitter account. The word "Sullll" was posted, accompanied by two laughing emojis.
"SULLLLLL."
While it didn't seem like a sentiment that the quarterback would send out, it also didn't make much sense. It turns out that the quarterback wasn't the person who sent the tweet, but his Packers teammate Rasul Douglas.
Douglas claimed that he had Rodgers' phone and many were wondering if that was truly the case. Douglas then tweeted from his own account that he could prove that he was the one using the quarterback's social media account. He also said that he would tweet anything suggested to prove it.
Someone tweeted that he should make a post that said "SULLLLL," which he did. Douglas then retweeted the post and showed everyone that it was, indeed, him who had the quarterback's phone.
