Tom Brady, in his lengthy career of 23 years in the gridiron, created several storylines and legends about himself. However, one of his former teammates shared a never-heard-before incident from Brady’s life.

Ross Tucker played only one season with the New England Patriots. However, in that one season of 2006-07, the center created a special relationship with seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.

The 45-year-old Tucker mentioned an intense moment involving Brady’s insistence on paying the bill, on his podcast. Tucker said:

“It was training camp, in ‘06 we went to a barbecue place right by Gillette Stadium there in Foxborough. And when I got up to pay my tab for like, ribs or whatever, Brady came over and he was like, ‘Ross, I’m paying’. I was like, ‘Tom, it's like $12, like, I'll pay it's fine’. He's like, ‘No, I'm paying’. He wanted to stab me with a knife.”

“And to this day, I think that he heard me tell the story about how Bledsoe would pay for everything in Buffalo. And in the back of his mind, he was like, ‘There's no way I'm ever letting Ross pay for something around me’."

Tucker concluded his story by saying:

"Either way, it's just awesome. How intense he was about paying for a $12 bill of ribs. That's him.”

Tucker claimed this nature in Brady was brought on by his stories of Drew Bledsoe’s generosity, which Tucker had seen in his time with the Buffalo Bills. He talked about it with his new teammates at the Patriots.

Tom Brady is ready for a new role

After his one year of being completely away from the game of football, Tom Brady will be back in the thick of it from this season onwards.

Brady has signed a massive contract worth $375 million for 10 years with Fox Sports to be their broadcaster. The 15-time Pro Bowler is leaving no stone unturned to prepare for his upcoming duties.

Apart from spending hours in the booth, the Patriots legend is utilizing cutting-edge AI technology to prepare for September 8. It's on that day that he will make his debut in the broadcasting world.
