"They took him to the hospital, Right now, he has a concussion. They're also testing him for potential neck injuries. His fingers were moving when he was down. I don't know about the rest."
As per the latest announcement by the Buccaneers, Gage has shown signs of improvement and has had movement in all of his extremities. He will now undergo more testing till cleared to be discharged.
Gage himself has since dropped a message on social media for his fans, thanking them for their support:
It was a scary sight for all NFL fans as just a few weeks ago, Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills suffered a cardiac arrest on the field after taking a hit against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Hamlin is still on his road to recovery, and hopefully, Gage will also get better in the coming days. As for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, their season is over following a disappointing 31-14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
Russell Gage and Buccaneers season ends in a disaster

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' season is over as they were unable to withstand the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wildcard Round. Dak Prescott and Co. were able to run through the Buccaneers with ease, and will now face the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round.
Before going down with an injury, Russell Gage had two receptions for 10 yards against the Cowboys. He finished the season with 51 catches for 426 yards and scored five touchdowns in 13 games.
Tom Brady will be a free agent after the season is over, and there is a very high possibility that he won't return to Tampa Bay next season.
Multiple teams are expected to pursue Brady in upcoming free agency, with the likes of the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets likely to be the frontrunners. Brady threw for 4,694 yards, 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 17 games this season.
