Has this season been a bigger disappointment for Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos than last season?

Last season when the Denver Broncos acquired Russell Wilson, many thought they would be a playoff team. Instead, they finished in last place in the AFC West division with a 5-12 record.

They fired head coach Nathaniel Hackett late into the season. This off-season, they acquired head coach Sean Payton from the New Orleans Saints.

Through five games, they sit at a 2-5 record under Payton and Wilson, which is again, last place in the AFC West division.

Unless the Broncos hit a mid-season switch, it looks like they will suffer another disappointing season, failing to meet expectations.
