Russell Wilson has helped lead the Pittsburgh Steelers to the playoffs in his first season with the team. The Steelers' chances to win the AFC North title are hanging in the balance after dropping their last three games.

On Thursday, Wilson reshared a video posted by @theresolutes__ of late NBA champion Kobe Bryant's speech on staying focused and knowing your purpose in life.

"It's all about focus, I don't care who you are or where you're from, doesn't matter," Bryant said. "It's having a focus and having a purpose. You wake up every single day to get better today than you were yesterday. It doesn't matter what you are. Basketball player, hockey player, golfer, painter, it doesn't matter right, you try to reach your full potential by getting better every single day and that's the quest."

The 10-6 Pittsburgh Steelers have one game left in the regular season, an AFC North battle against the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday before their postseason run begins.

Steelers QB Russell Wilson says team has to have 'amnesia' about losing streak

The Pittsburgh Steelers had a two-game lead in the AFC North; however, after losing three games in 11 days, they are one game behind the Baltimore Ravens with one game left.

On Thursday, Russell Wilson spoke to reporters and when asked how he and his team should get past their losing streak, he had a one-word response: "amnesia." He added that everyone needs to forget what happened in recent weeks and start fresh ahead of their postseason run.

"You got to have amnesia in this game," Wilson said, via ESPN. "It is one of those games that they got good players, we got good players, there's going to be highs, there's going to be lows throughout the game, throughout the season, through all that and just having amnesia.
"Part of the amnesia is that if you focus on the work and obsess with the work, that allows you to free yourself of the negativity sometimes, too. It's part of the journey of seeking perfection— is there's always highs. There's mountain peaks, there's great moments, tough ones. The ability to embrace the adversity, not running from it."

The Baltimore Ravens will also face the Cleveland Browns on Saturday, so the division title will not be decided by the time the Steelers take the field. However, playoff seeding will be on the line as well as preventing the Bengals from having any chance at a wild card spot.
