Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson is unhappy with the omission of Linebacker T.J. Watt from the 2025 First-Team All-Pro lineup.
Taking to Instagram, Wilson reposted his team's graphic, featuring Watt in his Steelers uniform (90) and screaming in intensity. In the bottom left corner, the text below it read, "Second-Team All-Pro"
Beneath that, Wilson wrote:
"Should be 1st. No one better."

T.J. Watt’s stats back Wilson’s sentiment. The linebacker led the Steelers' defense with 11.5 sacks, an NFL-high six forced fumbles and 61 tackles last season.
Watt's consistency has earned him six All-Pro honors, including four First-Team nods. Yet, he was relegated to the Second Team this year.
Watt's spot on the Second Team came after Cleveland’s Myles Garrett and Cincinnati’s Trey Hendrickson were named to the First-Team defensive end positions.
The Steelers, however, still made their way in the All-Pro announcements. Defensive tackle Cameron Heyward and kicker Chris Boswell secured First-Team spots. Talking about Boswell, he made history as Pittsburgh’s first player to lead the NFL in scoring. The Steelers kicker amassed 158 points and 41 field goals.
T.J. Watt claimed the Steelers’ MVP Award for the 2024 season
While T.J. Watt may have been overlooked in the All-Pro race, he has been named the Steelers’ MVP for the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2024 seasons.
As reported by CBS News, the Linebacker's focus is earning his first postseason win as the Steelers now head into the playoffs.
"It's my story since I've been here; I haven't won a playoff game," he said. "I've been saying it this whole season. It doesn't matter how well you prepare, how good you feel about your preparation if you don't execute on game day."
Watt also shared the desire to experience the camaraderie of what it is like to be a Super Bowl champion.
"There's a big difference between guys that come back that are Super Bowl champions and guys that aren't," he said. "That's not a slight at the guys that aren't. I'm one of those guys right now, but there's definitely an aura to a guy that has won a Super Bowl.
There's a togetherness, a close-knit group of guys that when they come back for those alumni weekends, they hang out and they bond, and they talk about their successes on and off the field and that Super Bowl run. We want that."
Today, the Ravens are hosting the Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium for the wild card playoff game.
