Ryan Clark reacted to Brett Favre and Larry Fitzgerald Sr. saying that Randy Moss is suffering from liver cancer, which is the reason why he took some time away from his duties with ESPN. Clark touched on how this situation was handled by Favre and Fitzgerald, calling them out for putting Moss' business out before he discussed it himself.

In a clip of his The Pivot podcast shared on Friday, RC put himself in Randy's son, Thaddeus Moss' position. Randy's son took issue with the things being said about his father online. He labeled Fitzgerald's post as "disgusting" while blasting him for airing private things to get reactions from fans.

In an X post on Friday, Clark sided with Moss in that "dispute" and said that he understood the kid trying to protect his father's privacy in a serious situation.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with them as he takes time to get his health in order, but this story is his to tell. No matter how pure the intent or correct the information it’s no one’s business to share but the Moss’ family. Let them have their time. Let them have their love. Let them fight their fight. They deserve that privacy!" Clark tweeted.

The clip also shows Clark discussing this situation, revealing that he reached out to the Moss family to check in on the former wide receiver, but insisted that nobody from outside the family should be telling Randy's business.

Randy Moss asked prayers from followers before stepping away from ESPN

Back on Dec. 1, Randy Moss shared a video to fans on his Instagram profile asking fans to pray for him. He didn't specifically mention what the issue was, but let people know he was battling some issues and needed all the support his fans could give him.

"Throughout the week of the holidays, your boy has been battling something internally," Moss said in the Instagram video. "I just ask for all the prayer warriors to put their blessed hands on me and my family through these hard times."

Besides this, neither Randy Moss nor his family have discussed what's going on with the player.

The 47-year-old wideout played in the NFL for 13 years before retiring in 2011. He would come back for a final season in 2012. He put up impressive numbers during his career, as he ranks second on the career receiving touchdowns list with 156 and fourth all-time in receiving yards with 15,292.
