The Arizona Cardinals' Sean Murphy-Bunting is one of the fastest-rising and most promising cornerbacks in the NFL, having already won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a sophomore. And according to him, he is also not the guy in the now-viral video with podcaster Bobbi Althoff.
On Tuesday, Bobbi Althoff (nee Heck), a social media influencer and host of The Really Good Podcast, released a TikTok video of herself having some intimate moments with a bearded African-American man. Althoff had recently divorced her husband Cory this summer (they have two daughters).
Then, the user @amandachristine_1 on TikTok posted a video claiming Althoff had 'soft-launched' her relationship with Murphy-Bunting.
Murphy-Bunting, however, denied being the man in the video:

Another name put forward as the "mystery man" was offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi, who last suited up for the New York Jets. He also denied the rumor in the comments section and also claimed Sean Murphy-Bunting wasn't the man as well. Althoff replied to Ogbuehi's comment in @amandachristine_1's video with six exclamation points.
Sean Murphy-Bunting's link to Bobbi Althoff, explained
Everyone must be wondering: how did this purported romance between Sean Murphy-Bunting and Bobbi Althoff come to be?
Back in July, a viral scene emerged wherein he was seen carrying her out of the Barstool Sports Bar in Nashville (he had played for the Tennessee Titans in the city in 2023 and thus gotten to know the place very well) while she was unconscious. TMZ was able to obtain a scoop of the events:
In a later Instagram Story, she thanked him for the act:
"Last night was scary but thankful for having good friends in my life like @seanmurphybunting for looking out for me"
A few days later, Murphy-Bunting delivered his side of the incident when speaking to Arizona Sports 98.7 FM:
"It was really just helping a friend in a situation that I felt like she needed help in. Just obviously being out having fun, reading the room. I just felt like things were off, and just wanted to make sure she got home safely."
Also according to him, he and Althoff first got acquainted with each other via a few mutual friends.
