In the aftermath of the Chicago Bears' (6-3) defeat against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, Seahawks WR DK Metcalf has spoken out. He discussed the offense’s struggles in a game devoid of TDs.
Speaking to reporters, Metcalf, who earlier in the season broke the franchise record of most touchdown receptions, avoided placing blame on the team’s tight turnaround schedule. Instead, he focused on execution.
“I’ve got to go back and watch the film," Metcalf admitted. "From my perspective, I think we’ve just got to run the ball more. "

Talking about Metcalf's performance in the game, he made a noteworthy play during one of the team's offensive drive. However, the drive failed to gain the necessary yardage for a first down or a scoring opportunity.
The Bears vs Seahawks clash, which was played on a rain-soaked Soldier Field, was a defensive grind.
DK Metcalf's team's defense recorded a season-high seven sacks with Leonard Williams leading the charge and generating six pressures and two sacks.
It is the team's defensive dominance, which kept the Seahawks’ playoff hopes alive. Next up, they will play against the Los Angeles Rams.
Mike Macdonald praised the Seattle Seahawks alongside their defense squad
After the Seattle Seahawks won against the Chicago Bears in Week 17, the team's coach Mike Macdonald could not help but hail his team.
"It's not easy coming across the country on a short week, playing in an atmosphere like that," Macdonald said, as reported by the New York Times.
He added:
"Our guys deserve a lot of credit for their poise. Our defense deserves a lot of credit. They played really hard."
With the win, the Seattle Seahawks have now improved to 9-7. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears have now lost 10 back-to-back games. In light of this, the team's interim head coach, Thomas Brown, has taken all the blame.
“The offense wasn’t good enough, and that’s on me,” he admitted.
Bears rookie QB, Caleb Williams also shared his thoughts after the game:
“Frustrated. Annoyed. But learning. … Excited about this last game and excited about the future.”
Next up, the Chicago Bears will face the Green Bay Packers in Week 18.
