"She's a 1-woman ratings juggernaut" - Skip Bayless lobs major accusation, claims NFL fixed Texans vs Chiefs for Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs' NFL divisional round clash against the Houston Texans on Saturday alongside her parents and WNBA star Caitlin Clark. Swift witnessed the Chiefs beat the Texans 23-14; however, Skip Bayless claimed the game was fixed.

On Tuesday's episode of "The Skip Bayless Show," he made a major accusation by saying that the NFL fixed the Texans vs Chiefs for Swift and talked about how referees "protected" Patrick Mahomes.

"Josh Allen and the Bills are up against a 60-man juggernaut," Bayless said (32:01). "That’s 53 Chiefs and seven referees. The memo will go out, just as it did last week: Make sure Taylor Swift makes it to New Orleans for the Super Bowl.

"Without her, the NFL loses millions and millions of viewers who will tune in, mostly to see what she’s wearing up in that Superdome luxury box. So Mahomes, teetering though he might, must be propped up. Must be protected by the referees, just the way he was Saturday, at home against the Texans."

Bayless also accused the NFL of having already secured a place for the Kansas City Chiefs at the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

"This is the Taylor Swift effect," Bayless said (34:31). "She is a one-woman ratings juggernaut. ‘Protect her! Prop her up! Award her boyfriend’s team with phantom penalties. Get them to New Orleans! The NFL needs the Swifties. Protect ‘em! Prop ‘em up! Make sure the Chiefs advance!’"

Skip Bayless lashes out at Caitlin Clark for tagging along with Taylor Swift at Chiefs-Texans

Taylor Swift shared the VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium with her parents and Caitlin Clark. While fans were surprised to see her tag along with Swift, Skip Bayless not happy about it. He lashed out at the WNBA star on X on Saturday.

"WAIT, CAITLIN CLARK IS UP IN THE ARROWHEAD BOX WITH TAYLOR SWIFT??? CAITLIN, YOU DON'T NEED TO BE SEEN WITH HER. YOU'RE BIGGER THAN SHE IS. JUST STAY ON YOUR OWN PATH," Bayless tweeted.

Chris Russo also called out Swift and Clark. While Russo was not happy with Swift, Chiefs CEO Gracie Hunt had nothing but great things to say about the pop superstar.
