"She’s so embarrassing" - NFL fans get their jokes off on Brittany Mahomes after Taylor Swift endorses Kamala Harris

On Tuesday, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris faced off for the first time in their bid to become the next president of the United States of America. Taylor Swift endorsed Harris as her pick for the presidential elections this November. The NFL fans, however, couldn’t help themselves from cracking jokes at the expense of Brittany Mahomes during all of this.

Swift’s endorsement of Harris might not have come as a surprise for many. The pop icon has previously shared her disagreements with Trump and has endorsed Democratic candidates, including Joe Biden in 2020.

However, several of her fans found it amusing that she stands at a crossroads with Brittany Mahomes’ apparent support for Donald Trump.

As Swift’s endorsement came through, several started taking shots at the Kansas City Chiefs QB’s wife.

“Imagine Brittany Mahomes watching this debate and thinking yess this is my man he's so smart I can't wait for him to be president,” one fan commented.

“She’s so embarrassing,” another added.

“Lmfao like that's SO embarrassing,” wrote one fan on X (previously Twitter).

Some fans theorized the future of their relationship going forward when teammates Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce get together, for the game or in a social setting.

“After that debate, Brittany's gonna endorse Kamala too,” wrote one fan.

“Maybe Brittany will write a break up song about it,” wrote another fan.

“Them not sitting in the same box during the game is starting to make more sense,” wrote a fan.

Donald Trump wants the support of Brittany Mahomes and not Taylor Swift

After the debate, Donald Trump appeared on Fox News. The former president reacted to Taylor Swift endorsing VP Harris in the upcoming elections.

“Well, I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better," said Trump. “I was not a Taylor Swift fan ... she'll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.”

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes haven't made formal endorsements of Donald Trump. However, she has liked posts on her Instagram praising the Trump-Vance ticket for the November elections.
