Shedeur Sanders will be up for grabs in the NFL Draft 2025. While many teams have their eyes on the Colorado Buffaloes QB, the 22-year-old revealed on the "2Legendary" podcast on Thursday which Heisman Trophy-winning QB in the NFL right influenced him the most.

Despite having Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield on the list, whose teams are doing much better this season, Sanders said that Joe Burrow had influenced him the most.

Per Shedeur Sanders, Burrow's work ethic impressed him more than his physical attributes. He makes it seem that anyone, with hard work and consistency, could become an elite QB.

"What I'm saying is he just developed a work habit and work ethic that anybody can develop," Shedeur Sanders said. "He's realistic, versus like Lamar Jackson who is like, how hard it is to do like but I could try whatever I want to try."

"I could do all these workouts, and I could never be Lamar Jackson, you know? I mean, because he's special, he has his own category."

On the other hand, Sanders found Burrow more relatable and even compared him to Tom Brady because they both won games with their minds.

Will the New York Giants draft Shedeur Sanders?

Shedeur Sanders was given thunderous applause when he made an appearance at Madison Square Garden to watch the Knicks vs. Hawks game. This has led to speculation that the New York Giants, at the bottom of the league standings right now, stand a high chance of securing the first draft pick next year, and Shedeur Sanders - arguably the top draft pick as of now - could land in New York.

Draft analyst Field Yates said he would follow the prediction that he would do so since Sanders or his confidants had not stated that the quarterback would not want to go to New York.

"I haven't heard anything definitively said directly to me that suggests that should or Sanders is not going to be open to playing for the New York Giants, so I'm going to stop short of suggesting as much until somebody indicates strongly to me that that would be the case," Yates said.

He also cited Eli Manning as an example and said that Shedeur Sanders could become a legend in NFL history if he could turn around the Giants's fortunes.
