It's nearly the end of January, which means most teams have already started focusing on the 2025 NFL Draft in April. Most draft experts have Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward as their top prospects in this class and with QB-needy teams like the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants picking at the top of the draft, there is a very strong possibility that Sanders will be off the board in the top three picks.
Sanders has been doing media this week ahead of the East-West Shrine Bowl game next week. During a conversation with the media, Sanders was asked about the possibility of being selected by the Titans, and his answer was a simple one. The young quarterback said he would be "thankful" for the opportunity.
While the Titans have Will Levis on the roster, the former Kentucky signal caller has not exactly convinced the franchise he is their QB of the future.

Shedeur Sanders and his journey to the NFL
Sanders has had a very unique college football experience, as he has been coached by his father throughout the entirety of his four-year stint. Of course, his father is a Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback with a vast amount of experience, however, the father-coach dynamic Shedeur was able to share with Coach Prime at the collegiate level is certainly something you don't see every day.
He certainly didn't disappoint during his senior campaign either, as Sanders passed for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. His efforts as the signal-caller for the Colorado Buffaloes were good enough to lead the team to a record of 9-4, earning them a bowl game appearance as well.
The Sanders family has been subject to a ton of NFL media coverage this offseason, not only because of Shedeur's draft stock, but his father's potential NFL coaching debut. At the conclusion of the regular season, there were several NFL head coaching vacancies that Sanders was rumored to be in consideration for. Most notably, the vacancy for head coach with the Dallas Cowboys.
There were some rumors that Coach Prime would draft both his sons, Shedeur and Shilo, to whichever team he would end up coaching in the NFL. Of course, all but one of the head coaching vacancies (the New Orleans Saints) have been filled, which means Sanders will return to Colorado to coach the Buffaloes once again next year.
Of course, he'll be missing several key pieces in his program, as both Shedeur and Shilo are NFL-bound, as well as Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter, who will also be leaving via the NFL Draft. Hunter is expected to be selected early in the first round as well.
The 2025 NFL Draft will take place live at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin from Thursday, April 24 to Saturday, April 26. And one thing is for sure - all eyes will be on Shedeur Sanders and which NFL team will be taking a chance on him.
