Olympic gymnastics champion Simone Biles offered fans a peek into her holiday celebrations with her husband Jonathan Owens. The couple's Christmas plans shifted to accommodate Owens' professional commitments, trading traditional festivities for a hotel stay.
Biles is fresh from her triumphant Paris Olympics campaign with four medals, and Jonathan Owens is deep into the NFL season as a safety for the Chicago Bears. They navigated their first Christmas as a married couple. After completing her 10-week Gold Over America Tour in November, Biles has become a regular presence at Chicago's games.
On Wednesday, Biles shared a photo of their feet as they lay on a hotel bed.
"Christmas looks a lil different when ya man gotta report to the hotel," Biles captioned.

In an exclusive interview with Olympics.com on Tuesday, Biles revealed their scaled-down holiday plans.
"Honestly, just the two of us," Biles said. "Nothing crazy. We're going on vacations next year, so we kind of didn't even do a Christmas this year."
The couple's adjusted holiday plans follow Biles' remarkable year, which included three gold medals and a silver at the Paris Olympics. Her team's all-around victory received a score of 171.296 points, with additional golds in individual all-around and vault events.
Jonathan Owens and Biles' rituals
The 11-time Olympic medallist described their pregame traditions to Olympics.com. They sleep separately in hotels before games, maintaining a routine that includes Jonathan Owens' superstitious sideline visit for good luck wishes from his wife.
"He's always looking for me on the sideline to give him, like, good luck vibes and wishes," Biles said.
Their connection extends beyond mutual support — Owens surprises her with weekly flowers, which she considers her favorite gift above material presents.
"He usually comes up, gives me a kiss goodbye," Biles said. "He's so chill. He's relaxed. And that's also his personality. Not as stressed as me."
She added that supporting each other means everything, noting how Owens has become surprisingly knowledgeable about gymnastics.
The Texas native has adapted well to Chicago's winter, attending games in temperatures as low as 17 degrees Fahrenheit. Between events, she maintains their home life, spending quiet days with their dogs and preparing meals when Owens returns from practice.
