After 23 years in the NFL, Tom Brady has officially retired, and musician Snoop Dog has noticed a rather unusual opening. With all elite athletes subject to random drug testing in a bid to keep a level playing field, Brady doesn't have to abide by that anymore.

Most people are aware of Snoop Dog's activities, and the idea came up while he was speaking on the "Let's Go Podcast" with Jim Gray and Brady. The back-and-forth between the three was entertaining, with Snoop Dog attempting to entice the seven-time Super Bowl champion to join him.

Snoop Dog said:

"This message is for my good buddy two-step Tom Brady, congratulations on your retirement, let's celebrate. You did that. Okay, nobody do what you did, and Can't nobody do what I do. So we might as well do it. Jim, you could join us too."

To which Gray replied:

"And you can use your imagination but no more drug testing, no more drug testing time. So I guess you can go hang out what's new?"

So the offer is there, but would the greatest quarterback to ever play the game be open to it? Well, he didn't say yes, but he also didn't shoot down the idea either.

Brady said:

"Again, to experience all aspects of life that I haven't been able to have for a long time, we'll see how that goes."

When the 45-year-old announced his retirement beach-side in a social media post, people could have been forgiven for not taking it seriously. After all, we have been here before, in fact, just 12 months ago.

But this one feels different, it feels final and we can safely assume that we have seen the last of the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

So what is his next move? He has a lucrative broadcasting job waiting for him at Fox. Brady spoke with Colin Cowherd on "The Herd" and stated that he will be taking a gap year and commencing his 10-year deal in 2024.

That leaves him with a year to spend with his family and, most importantly, to rest.

Given how well his NFL career went, we can expect Brady to be just as good, if not better, in the broadcast booth or in the studio.
