“Is that Father Time?" - Snoop Dogg trolls Tom Brady on his own podcast over embarrassing hand-off to Leonard Fournette

Tom Brady is six years younger than Snoop Dogg (45 and 51 years old, respectively). However, Brady is the oldest active NFL player, with different physical demands than a rapper/music icon like Snoop Dogg.

That fact did not stop the legendary rapper from taking a light-hearted jab at the quarterback's play in Week 15 of the NFL season.

The music star appeared on Brady's weekly podcast Let's Go, with former NFL player Larry Fitzgerald and sports journalist Jim Gray. The subject of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' loss to the Cincinnati Bengals focused on the turnovers.

Snoop Dogg and Brady discussed one particular play where the star quarterback explained that the ball was an inch from Fournette when it squirted out of his hand.

Brady insisted that this had never happened before, to which Snoop Dogg asked him whether age is finally catching up to the legendary quarterback:

“Is that Father Time? Did he put his hand in the breadbasket?”

Brady quickly replied with a more candid answer:

“No, that’s Father F**k’ng Ridiculousness is what it is. That has nothing to do with anything Father Time; that’s just nonsense.”

Tom Brady and his guest also discussed Week 15 and the Buccaneers' still incredibly good chance of making the playoffs (thanks to a very weak NFC South division). The two also mused about how sports can capture the world's attention, like the entertaining World Cup final where Argentina beat France.

The GOAT quarterback for the Buccaneers returned for another season and another shot at the Super Bowl. But for Tom Brady and co., the 2022 regular season has not gone accordingly to plan. The Buccaneers' vaunted offense has sputtered, and their elite defense has dealt with various injuries all season.

Combined with the lack of big plays seen in the past two seasons, the Buccaneers are struggling as a team. Despite the record, they are sitting atop the weak NFC South with a record of 6-8.

The Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and the Atlanta Falcons are all one game behind at 5-9. With only three weeks left in the regular season, any of these teams could punch their ticket to the playoffs by capturing the division title - even with a sub-.500 record.

As long as Tom Brady and the Buccaneers keep winning, they control their own playoff path and would hold off their division rivals.
