The Jacksonville Jaguars fired head coach Doug Pederson on Monday. Pederson served as Jacksonville's coach for the last three years, leading them to the playoffs once in that span.

After a disappointing 4-13 season, owner Shad Khan and management elected to relieve Pederson from his duties, with the task of finding his replacement.

So far, the Jaguars have been busy in their head coaching search. They've requested interviews for or have interviewed multiple top candidates, including Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady and many others.

The Jaguars' most recent request has been to interview Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. After hearing that the team requested to interview the Chiefs DC, fans had mixed reactions.

"Spags is a hot name and clearly suggests Jags are going the defensive route ar HC," a fan said.
"On behalf of all non-Chiefs fans, please for the love of God make this happen," a fan wrote.
"For the good of the nfl, jags need to hire Spags away from Reid," a fan said.
"Jags def need the help," a fan said.

While some fans think Spagnuolo would be a good fit for Jacksonville, others think there is a better fit. A lot of people think that Lions OC Ben Johnson would be a terrific fit for Jacksonville.

Many think Johnson's offensive mastermind and creativity can help unlock quarterback Trevor Lawrence's true potential and can elevate the Jaguars offense.

"Ben Johnson or bust," a fan wrote.
"Anyone but Brian Flores or Ben Johnson for the Jags is a total failure for T Law," a fan replied.
"TLaw bounce back incoming!!!!," a fan said.
"Ben would absolutely unlock Trevor Lawrence," a fan replied.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will hire a third head coach in as many as four seasons. There are some attractive pieces in taking the Jaguars' head coaching job.

The Jaguars are one of the youngest teams in the NFL and possess a lot of young talent. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence has shown potential, leading the Jaguars to the playoffs in his second season and leading his team to a 27-point playoff comeback.

Rookie wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. was one of the most productive wide receivers in the NFL, finishing third in receiving yards (1,287) and being tied for the sixth-most receiving touchdowns with 10.

Jacksonville also has some talent on defense, including two edge rushers (Josh Hines-Allen, Travon Walker) and linebacker Devin Lloyd and Co.

Who do you think will land the next head coaching gig with the Jaguars?
