Tonight, the Green Bay Packers host the New Orleans Saints and quarterback Spencer Rattler.

With it being late in the season and the end of December, tonight's game, which will be played at Lambeau Field, will be a frigid one. The current forecast is calling for 1-3 inches of snow from 3 p.m.-7:00 p.m. while the temperature during tonight's kickoff will be 32 degrees.

While the temperature hasn't been and isn't that cold in New Orleans, the Saints used an interesting strategy preparing for tonight's cold game. Quarterback Spencer Rattler revealed that the team went over some stuff in the team's cafeteria freezer.

Rattler said:

"We've had a little conditons out here windy-wise this week, but, even this morning, Janocko took us in the cafeteria freezer where it was 10 degrees and we're just going through the whole script in there. Just doing that, I mean, that helped a lot, so, hopefully it's not 10 degrees, but, we'll be ready."

Rattler was then asked if that was the first time he had to call plays in the freezer.

Rattler said:

"Yeah, that was the first for me, but Janocko's an interesting cat man, y'all would like him... We got through it in probably five-ten minuutes. We were in there for a good little minute but it was good."

It will be interesting to see if their strategy pays off tonight. There aren't too many ways you can prepare for playing in cold weather besides being in cold weather and getting used to it.

What's at stake in tonight's Packers-Saints game?

Heading into tonight's Week 16 finale at Lambeau Field, the Green Bay Packers hold a 10-4 record while the New Orleans Saints enter tonight's game with a 5-9 record.

With the Atlanta Falcons defeating the New York Giants yesterday, the Saints have officially been eliminated from the playoffs.

While they don't have a chance to fight for the playoffs, the Saints will still look to finish the seaosn strong before they likely enter a new regime this offseason, which will see a new coach named head coach and possibly without quarterback Derek Carr.

The Packers aren't officially a playoff team yet. They had the chance to clinch a playoff spot on Sunday, but the Falcons as well as the Seahawks and Rams all won.

If Green Bay wins tonight, they'll at least clinch the final Wild Card spot, as they don't have a chance to win the NFC North that will be decided between the Vikings and Lions.

Do you think Green Bay will clinch a playoff spot tonight?
