SPOTTED: Jalen Hurts' fiancée makes rare appearance at Eagles vs Commanders

It wasn’t just Jalen Hurts’ performance that had fans talking after Sunday's Philadelphia Eagles' win against the Washinton Commanders. His rare moment with his fiancée, Bryonna “Bry” Rivera Burrows, when the couple exited the field went viral.

Clad in a black outfit, she walked hand-in-hand with Hurts as fans cheered.

This was possibly the couple's first public appearance on field together since the 2023 NFC championship game when the Eagles won over the 49ers.

The soon-to-be Mrs. Hurts is a tech executive with a flourishing career at IBM. The couple, who met at the University of Alabama have been together on and off for years. Finally, they got engaged in September 2024.

In an interview with Essence in April 2023, Jalen spoke about Bryonna and said:

"I knew a long time ago. I mean, to this point in my life, that’s an irreplaceable feeling. I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now."

On Sunday, the Eagles didn’t just win. They crushed the Commanders. Saquon Barkley was unstoppable, as he ran for 115 yards and scored three touchdowns.

Jalen Hurts also had an excellent game. He completed 20 of 28 throws for 246 yards and four touchdowns (three rushing). This will be Hurts' second Super Bowl appearance in three years. Hurts and the Eagles are eager to rewrite the story when they face the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans.

Jalen Hurts and his fiancée turned heads at 2023 TIME100 Next Gala

At the 2023 TIME100 Next Gala in New York City, Jalen Hurts and Bryonna “Bry” Rivera Burrows graced the red carpet. The couple twinned in black. Hurts wore a black suit with a white undershirt. Meanwhile, Burrows flaunted a black cut-out gown.

The gala, which was held at Second, celebrated new leaders from different fields and it also included Hurts.

In February 2023, Hurts led the Eagles to the Super Bowl and in April 2023, he signed a $255 million contract extension with the team.
