"Stay in your f***ing lane": Former Chiefs cheerleader takes shots at Harrison Butker on controversial women and LGBTQ comments
Kansas City Chiefs' kicker Harrison Butker

Harrison Butker has been having a hard time since his controversial commencement speech at Benedictine College. An ex-employee of the Kansas City Chiefs has hit back at the Kicker, addressing him directly for his comments on women and LGBTQ rights.

The former cheerleader of the Chiefs, Stefanie Hills, posted a TikTok video addressing Butker’s speech. The cheerleader, who, according to her TikTok bio, has worked with the team from 2018 to 2024, didn’t hold back in her choice of words. Hills started off with:

“First and foremost, until a few months ago, we were employed by the Kansas City Chiefs. I cheered you on for six years straight. And with that, I would assume that we went to the same PR training.”

Going forward in the video, Stefanie Hills noted that Butker isn’t just a regular player but someone who represents a billion-dollar company. Therefore, whatever he does or says will have a direct effect on the label he carries with him.

“And anything you say or do that doesn’t align with that brand … will be grounds for termination. Not entirely sure if that last part is gonna apply to you but I guess we’ll find out,” Hills had said.

The former Chiefs cheerleader concluded by asking Butker to follow his own advice.

“Bruh, take your own advice. Kick some balls around. Stay in your f–king lane,” Hills had said.

Ever since Stefanie Hills posted the video, it’s gone viral and has more than 3 million views. Interestingly, while many people find Harrison Butker’s speech controversial and more inclined toward hatred, there are also people who are on Kicker’s side.

Whoopi Goldberg defends Harrison Butker post controversial commencement speech

Whoopi Goldberg is among those groups of people who aren’t on the opposite side of Butker. During Thursday’s episode of The View, Goldberg defended the 28-year-old Kicker’s comment. Goldberg believes that everyone has a right to share their beliefs, and so does Butker. She said:

“Listen, I like when people say what they need to say. He’s at a Catholic college, he’s a staunch Catholic. These are his beliefs and he’s welcome to them. I don’t have to believe them. I don’t have to accept them. The ladies who were sitting in that audience do not have to accept them.”

Whoopi Goldberg noted that it becomes an issue when people are fired for sharing their beliefs. And when something like this happens, Goldberg likes to take a stand for them. And that’s why she is with Harrison Butker.
