Russell Wilson looked back to his old self for the Steelers against the Ravens. The problem was that there were shades of both the Seahawks and Broncos during this momentous AFC North matchup. Pittsburgh came into this game knowing a win here would give them the divisional championship, while Baltimore knew that a victory would bring them level with their opponents.
With so much riding on the line, both teams were going for it. In the second half, the score was 24-17 in the Ravens' favor and the Steelers had the ball. It had come after Lamar Jackson was intercepted for only the fourth time this season. It looked like a turning point but Russell Wilson handed the initiative straight back on the next possession.
He dropped back and rolled right before throwing on the run. It missed the receiver who was further ahead and Marlon Humphrey stole in to score his first pick-six. It made the score 31-17 for the Ravens and effectively made the lead insurmountable in the fourth quarter.

Russell Wilson's fumble in the red zone had previously altered course of the game
It was not the Steelers' quarterback's first mistake in the game. In the first half, he had taken off on a run that reminded viewers of when he was one of the most mobile passers in the league. However, the way it ended was unlike what is expected from a veteran. He took the ball into contact near the goal line instead of sliding and going for a first-and-goal. That jarred the ball loose and the Ravens recovered and went on a touchdown drive of their own.
