Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, which concluded last month, is the highest-grossing concert tour in history, generating over $2 billion in revenue. Stephen A. Smith revealed witnessed the concert, calling it "the greatest concert I (have) ever been to in my life."
While interviewing Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce on Wednesday's episode of his eponymous show, the veteran sportscaster recalled (32:17 onwards):
"My daughters hoodwinked me, because they got me to take 10 of their friends, and that was $2000 a buck. That's $20,000 on that damn concert... I ain't got your money, Travis. I damn sure I don't have [Taylor Swift's] money. I said, 'This better be worth it.' And I gotta confess, it was so damn good, I went back twice."

Travis Kelce explains why he went to Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour"
Accompanying one's uber-famous girlfriends as she tours the world is a very demanding task, especially for a football player like Travis Kelce, who had to meticulously schedule his moments with her, usually during bye weeks and practice off days.
But he still did it, explaining his rationale in that same interview as follows:
“That's the beauty of being in a very strong relationship - you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft, on being the best version of you. That's why I wanted to be at the concert, supporting her and being there for her, making sure she feels comfortable and supported in everything she's doing.”
He continued by comparing it to his football career:
“I think I'm as focused as I've ever been on my job and being the best player that I could possibly be week in and week out for this team. It's because I don't have to worry about things off the field."
At the same time, he refuted the notion that she was trying to convince him to retire amid one of his worst seasons ever: 97 catches for 823 yards and three touchdowns - both career-lows:
"She's fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game. She loves coming to Arrowhead and coming to the games and cheering for me, so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams."
Kelce and the Chiefs will host the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round this Saturday. Swift has been confirmed to be in attendance for that game.
