Tom Brady says he's "locked in" to call his first Thanksgiving games this Thursday. In his first year as a commentator for FOX, the former NFL quarterback will be on the call for the Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants matchup. Although both teams have their backup quarterbacks, Brady says he's been putting in the work to make the game interesting for fans.
"John Madden Day on Thanksgiving, and in Dallas, we got the Giants-Cowboys," Brady said on the "Lets Go Podcast" on Tuesday (15:56). "Probably not the way that anyone anticipated going but I've been studying my ass off this morning trying to figure out some good storylines for this game. It's a little tough to comb through some of these clips."
Although the NFC East Divisional game isn't as hyped as expected, Brady is still excited to call the game. Dallas is without Dak Prescott, while the Giants will be starting either Tommy DeVito or Drew Lock, which is why the game has lost some luster.
The Cowboys are a 3.5-point favorite at home against the Giants on Thanksgiving.

Tom Brady reached out to Terry Bradshaw for advice
Tom Brady's first season as an NFL commentator has been up and down.
Brady has been criticized for his commentary, and the future Hall of Fame quarterback reached out to Terry Bradshaw for advice on commentating.
"No, I don't know [Jason] Kelce, I do know Tom Brady," he answered when asked if he personally knew Jason Kelce - who also works for Fox - and Tom Brady. He added, via The Mirror: "And Tom did say 'hey look, if you could give me some any advice at all, I really value what you have to say' and I really appreciated that.
"What I've done more than anything is encourage him after the games, I've text him and said 'really great, I can tell you're getting more comfortable'. I love hearing what he has to [offer], seven-time Super Bowl champion, he's got something to add to a broadcast and I love listening to him."
Brady is trying his best to get better, as he is calling Bradshaw to get advice. The former quarterback is part of FOX's top broadcast crew, so he's calling the best games each week.
