As the Super Bowl nears, there are millions of interactions taking place on social media. In 2023, social media is just as relevant as actual in-person events and interactions.
From Twitter and Instagram to TikTok, fans have shared millions of posts by now.
That being said, the Super Bowl teams — the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles — seem to be the current focus, especially since a close contest is expected to take between the two top-seeded teams.

Interestingly, star QB Patrick Mahomes isn't the most popular NFL player on TikTok. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce takes up that position with over 60 million views on the app. Mahomes followed his teammate closely with 55 million views.
The third spot goes to Eagles center Jason Kelce with 41 million views (TikTok data from Betway).
Travis Kelce's official TikTok account is currently at over 178,000 followers. The 33-year-old is fairly active on the app. He mostly shares content related to his podcast which he hosts with his brother called "New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce."
Jason doesn't have his own official/public TikTok account just yet.
The podcast itself has over 680,000 followers on TikTok.
While Mahomes and his wife Brittany are popular on TikTok, neither of them are active on the video-sharing app.
Eagles vs. Chiefs: Which Super Bowl 2023 team is most popular on TikTok?
Just like Travis Kelce, the most popular team on TikTok are the Kansas City Chiefs. They beat out the Eagles with over 50% views at 204 million. The Eagles follow with 95 million views.
Interestingly, the Eagles have the youngest viewers with 18 and 24-year-olds viewing the team the most.
While the Eagles are way ahead when it comes down to views, they have more posts over the last seven days.
Having said that, both the Chiefs and the Eagles are all set to face each other at the Super Bowl. Both Jason and Travis are also the the first pair of brothers to compete at the Super Bowl. Each has won a title beforehand, and one of them will win a second by the end of today, Sunday, February 12.
The Super Bowl is scheduled to start at 6:30 PM EST at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona.
