The Kansas City Chiefs secured a 32-29 victory at home against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game, earning a spot in the Super Bowl. One of the biggest complaints on social media was that the referees were making favorable calls toward the Chiefs during the playoffs.

However, Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill wasn't going to let those allegations slide. After the game, he took to social media and told critics to "kick rocks."

Drue Tranquill is finishing up the first year of his three-year, $19 million contract and is scheduled to make $6.75 million next season with a cap hit of $8.5 million. He played well in the AFC Championship Game as he posted nine total tackles (three solo, six assisted) and one run stuff.

Kansas City Chiefs continue to make history

The Kansas City Chiefs have been one of the most dominant franchises of all time, as their dynastic run continues. This run began when Patrick Mahomes officially became the starting quarterback in the 2018 season when the Chiefs lost to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game before breaking through in 2020 with their first of three Super Bowls during this run.

As a starting quarterback, Mahomes has a 17-3 record in the postseason and has 50 total touchdowns. Coach Andy Reid has 301 career wins and continues to climb the record books as his 28 playoff wins are just three away from tying Bill Belichick's 31 playoff wins.

Then, we have tight end Travis Kelce. He has been one of the most prolific receivers in the NFL Postseason as he is the second player to have at least 2,000 receiving yards in the playoffs (Jerry Rice 2,245) and two touchdowns behind Rice for the playoff record.

Even with that "big three", the Kansas City Chiefs are obviously looking to win their third consecutive Super Bowl and that would be the first time in the Super Bowl era it would have been done. This Chiefs team has been historic and it's likely that we still have more years to come.
