Trevon Diggs' football team slipped under .500 with the Sunday Night Football loss to the San Francisco 49ers. No one likes losing, but Diggs might have taken the loss the worst, appearing to take it out on a reporter who had seemingly spotlighted him.

A clip of the interaction surfaced online of Diggs having a confrontation with a reporter and walking out. Here's what he said.

"You don't know football. You can't do nothing that I do. You can't go out there and do nothing. Stay in your lane buddy. Stop playing me, bro," he said.

The reporter said he was happy to talk about it and asked if he would talk about it.

"Talk about deez nuts," he responded.

The Cowboys lost to the 49ers by a score of 30-24 as the team's fourth-quarter comeback came up short. At the end of the third quarter, it was 27-10. Trevon Diggs' team rallied to make the score closer, but it wasn't enough to counter the 49ers' 21-0 run in the third quarter.

Cowboys fans likely would lament that they felt they had let the game slip away as the team had a 10-6 lead going into halftime.

The Cowboys went into Week 8 with an opportunity to keep pace with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders. But instead, they find themselves needing help to avoid slipping into a tie with the New York Giants at the bottom of the division.

The Giants face the Pittsburgh Steelers, and if New York wins, both the Cowboys and Giants would have a 3-4 record, effectively tying them at the bottom of the division.

To get back into the race, the Cowboys will seemingly need to go on a run against a gauntlet of teams that won't let up any time soon. The Cowboys face the Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans and Washington Commanders over their next four games.

Trevon Diggs' defense will also need to tighten up their game as the unit is currently ranked 26th in the NFL. Of course, changes could be needed for the scheme, as well as a surge from the players. However, will the team get the boost they need from Trevon Diggs' side of the ball?
