New Orleans tight end Taysom Hill suffered a bruised lung in the Saints' Week 2 victory against the Dallas Cowboys. Hill was briefly hospitalized but left the hospital shortly as the injury did not seem to be too serious.

The Saints were cautious with Hill's activity leading up to their Week 3 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Hill missed it due to some breathing problems towards the end of the week.

Hill then missed practice early last week before returning as a limited participant on Thursday and Friday.

On Saturday, the Saints listed Taysom Hill as doubtful before ruling him out against the Eagles.

The New Orleans Saints are optimistic that Taysom Hill can play this week.

The good news is that he was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. This is a good sign of his availability for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. No word has been officially made on Taysom Hill's status, but he seems to be trending towards playing.

The New Orleans Saints looked unstoppable in the first two weeks of the 2024 NFL season. They picked up back-to-back wins against the Carolina Panthers 47-10 and the Dallas Cowboys 44-19.

Looking to improve to 3-0, the Saints ran into the Philadelphia Eagles who handed them a 15-12 loss. Many were surprised by their low-scoring game after putting up at least 44 points in each of the first two games.

The Saints will look to get back in the win column on Sunday when they face their division rival at 1:00 p.m. ET. The Falcons will be at home as the game will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Falcons enter Week 4 with a 1-2 record, suffering losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Unlike the Saints though, the Falcons were able to defeat the Eagles 22-21 win in Week 2.

Which NFC South team do you think will get closer to first place in the division with a win this Sunday?
