Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes injured his left ankle in the team's 21-7 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. It was serious enough to have him leave the game.
As the Chiefs prepare to take on the Houston Texans, Mahomes' status for Saturday's game is up in the air, and he won't know if he will play until later on in the week. Mahomes talked to the media on Tuesday about what it will take for him to play as he isn't as mobile as he normally is with the injury.
Houston Texans defensive lineman Tim Settle warned Mahomes that the Houston defense is coming for him:

"Pat's a little banged up, I don't know if he's going to play or not. I hope he's mobile enough 'cause we comin' in Arrowhead."

To no surprise, Settle's response made the rounds on social media, with many fans trolling him in the comments.
Here's how some NFL fans reacted.
"I respect the Texans But all this talk from their players and fans abt what they gonna do on Saturday, is funny to me How do you lose to the Jets? Just stop," a fan said.
"Funniest thing about this is that he lines up against the best interior offensive line in the league. It’s just crazy to give a team bulletin board material like this. So silly," a fan replied.
"Oh this wasn’t a good idea. Not sure why players who haven’t won anything love to poke the bear," a fan said.
A lot of fans think it isn't a good idea for Settle to poke the bear in Mahomes and to give the Chiefs more bulletin board material to prepare for their Saturday game.
Here's how more fans reacted.
"Why are we still giving Patrick Mahomes bulletin board material," a fan said.
"Yep the Texans just lost lol," a fan replied.
"Chiefs beating that ass with or without Mahomes bucko," a fan said.
Both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans will play Saturday, and then both will have Christmas Day games

It's the end of the NFL regular season, and there will be games played on days other than Thursday, Sunday and Monday.
On Saturday, there's a doubleheader of games as the Kansas City Chiefs will host the Houston Texans at 1 p.m. on NBC/Peacock. The Baltimore Ravens will then host the Pittsburgh Steelers at 4:30 in an AFC North battle on Fox.
Just four days later, the four same teams will play again. On Christmas Day, which is Wednesday, the Steelers will host the Chiefs at 1 p.m. while the Texans will host the Ravens at 4:30 p.m. Both games will be on Netflix, which is the first time the streaming platform will broadcast NFL games.
