"I think they'll close it out strong," Watt said on Wednesday. "I believe in them. I believe in DeMeco Ryans, what he's doing, and that entire staff and all the players down there. There's no question, it's a rough patch at the moment, just little things."

"There's some issues with penalties, for sure, some offensive line things," Watt said. "But middle of the season is when you get all that stuff cleaned up and get it corrected."

According to Fox44news, Stroud's performance has been particularly scrutinized. Houston coach DeMeco Ryans addressed these challenges directly and emphasized personal growth and continuous improvement.

"For me, when it comes to the bar being set, who sets the bar for someone? There is no higher bar set for coaches and players than the bars we set for ourselves," Ryans told reporters on Wednesday.
