The Sports Illustrated model Olivia Ponton made headlines earlier this week for reportedly calling 911 at Bengals star Joe Burrow's house to report a burglary. On Monday, Burrow's $7.5 million property was broken into while the quarterback was playing in Texas against the Cowboys.

Bengals fans have recently been spotted jumping on Ponton's Instagram posts to seek protection for Burrow. The SI model shared an Instagram post from her photoshoot on Sunday, and the Bengals fans couldn't resist but jump on it. Thanking Ponton for protecting the quarterback, one fan commented:

"Protect my QB’s house better next time, thank you."
"Please take care of my QB Joey B," wrote another fan.

Interestingly, almost a week before reporting a burglary at Burrow's house, Ponton found herself in a bizarre situation at her home after a man tried to break in.

Olivia Ponton posted a TikTok on Saturday, during which she recalled a bizarre incident with food delivery. Ponton told her fans how a "man" kept on banging on her door and tried to break in for almost 20 minutes. Sharing the details of the terrifying incident, Ponton said:

"Never put your real name or a photo of yourself on Uber, Uber Eats, Lyft, DoorDash, any of it. Let this be your sign. Matter of fact, change it to a guy’s name. Jason, Jake, John. Anything. And just delete the photo. Let this be your f—ing sign. I was just shaking in my literal boots for 20 minutes."
"This man would not stop banging on my door. For 20 minutes? I was like, ‘Aren’t you getting tired?’ I was standing there. I didn’t know what to do. I was literally frozen. And he was covering the little peek hole with the bag, so I couldn’t even see who it was. I couldn’t match up the photo on Uber Eats with him," the SI model added.

Almost two days after the incident, Burrow finally released a statement on Wednesday while indirectly addressing his viral alleged connection with Ponton. The Bengals star expressed how his "privacy has been violated," and the whole situation has become hard to deal with.
