Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, who is closer to winning the Super Bowl three-peat, had fans in splits on Wednesday's episode of the "New Heights" podcast. As the NFL TE tackled the buzz around the recent TikTok blackout in the United States, he gave a refreshingly indifferent take on the ordeal that put TikTok users in a frenzy a few days ago.

“Did you guys survive the great TikTok blackout of 2025?” Jason Kelce questioned. [9:39]
“Didn’t affect me one bit," Travis shrugged off. (9:58-10:00)

Next, Travis Kelce mentioned that a ban on TikTok wouldn't ruin his life. However, banning platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and Wondery+ will. These are the ones where the Kelce brothers's podcasts thrive.

“That would be a big bummer for us,” Jason chimed in. (11:11)

To which Travis stated:

“That would mean I’m out of a job.” (11:18)

That said, Travis Kelce is there on TikTok. He has an official account with 2.8 million followers. You can find him under the handle @TravisKelce.

TikTok faced a brief blackout in the U.S. on Sunday (Jan. 19). It came after a law requiring it to sever ties with its Chinese parent company, ByteDance, took effect. However, service was restored on Monday. It happened after President Donald Trump assured that he would delay the ban to allow time for negotiations.

It was a tense moment for 170 million American users of TikTok. Thankfully, the blackout was short-lived.

Travis Kelce is getting ready for their AFC Championship game

With the Kansas City Chiefs set to face the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship on Sunday (Jan. 28), Travis Kelce is the player to watch. He has been a key reason for the Chiefs's success in past playoff games against the Bills.

In the three postseason clashes the Kansas City Chiefs played since 2020, Kelce has always had at least 70 receiving yards and scored a TD.

One of his top moments was in 2021 when he scored a touchdown in a 42-36 overtime win against the Buffalo Bills.

Coming to the last year, Kelce scored two TDs against the Bills in the Divisional Round game.

Kelce has also had some of his best games in the AFC Championship.

In the 2020 meeting against the Bills, he had 13 catches for 118 yards and two TDs for the Chiefs. He added eight catches for 96 yards and a score in 2021.

Cut to 2025, as the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills prepare for their fourth playoff clash in five years, Kelce is all ready.
