The Chargers defeated the Browns 27-10 and quarterback Jameis Winston was partially responsible for it. After defeating the Ravens last week, with Winston throwing three touchdowns without a pick, there was hope that Cleveland would build on that. However, that did not go quite to plan against Los Angeles.
Jameis Winston threw three interceptions in the game and finished with a 50.5 passer rating. Those hoping that Deshaun Watson's injury would give the Browns offense a chance to reset and grow would have been sorely disappointed.
But that provided an opportunity for fans on social media to troll the Cleveland quarterback. They took to X/Twitter to express their views. Here are some of the reactions.

Some gave credit to the Chargers' secondary and defense, as a whole, for making it so difficult for Jameis Winston to get into a rhythm. Here are some more responses.
"The Chargers defense and especially their young secondary is damn good." - said one.
"He playing the best defense in the league it’s tough out there" - agreed another.
"Chargers defense is legit" - added one more.
Browns HC Kevin Stefanski asked about Jameis Winston's future after Chargers loss
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has spent most of this season addressing the quarterback situation. First, it was about Deshaun Watson. The former Texans player is the automatic starter when he is fit given the size of his contract, which stands at $230 million and is fully guaranteed. But Cleveland had the worst passing offense when he was playing and people kept asking Stefanski if it was time to bench him and start Jameis Winston instead.
However, Watson tore his Achilles and is out for the season. That allows Jameis Winston a chance to be a starter for the rest of the year. However, given the three interceptions thrown against the Chargers, it was not a surprise that the Browns head coach was asked if his current quarterback should remain the starter going forward. Kevin Stefanski was emphatic in his response, saying,
"Yes. Those are the type of things, we just have to play better as a football team."
Dorian Thompson-Robinson is the next quarterback on the depth chart. A few more games like this by Winston, though, might force Stefanski's hand. Getting to the playoffs looks beyond the Browns right now and they might as well look at the options available on the roster.
