Serena Williams was a delight at the 2024 ESPYs. Making the most of her grand night, the tennis icon took a fun dig at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
While the Kansas City Chiefs tight end wasn't present at the award show, Williams made sure to mention him during her speech at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday.
“Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs,” Williams said. “This year, Patrick Mahomes and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend won a Super Bowl. Travis and Taylor reportedly spent $100,000 a day on their romance. That’s a lot of money. That’s what I’ve been told Jaylen Brown spends on his beard."

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift weren't present at the ESPYS.
Swift, currently focusing on her Eras Tour, is in Europe for her concert shows. Kelce flew out to Paris, London and Amsterdam to attend the concert. The two went viral on multiple occasions, Kelce going above and beyond by making an appearance on stage alongside Swift.
Kelce is currently playing in the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament in South Lake Tahoe. His older brother Jason Kelce, who recently retired, is also present at the golf tournament.
Venus and Serena Williams fired shots at Chiefs' Harrison Butker at the 2024 ESPYs
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift weren't the only celebrities Serena Williams mentioned. On stage with Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson, the multiple-time Grand Slam champions didn't hesitate before calling Harrison Butker out.
"Go ahead and enjoy women's sports like you would any other sports, because they are sports," Venus Williams said.
"Except you, Harrison Butker. We don't need you," Serena Williams added.
Brunson added on to the two athletes, agreeing with their words:
"At all. Like, ever."
Butker, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, was under fire for his 'homemaker' speech at the Benedictine college.
Butker was present at the ESPYs.
