Aaron Rodgers drew a lot of attention with his claims about the "fountain of youth" that New York Jets punter Thomas Morstead brought to his attention. As expected, whenever Rodgers says things like that, plenty of fans react, including one analyst.

On Wednesday's edition of "The Herd," Colin Cowherd compared Rodgers to a crazy uncle who always comes up with business ideas that never come to fruition.

"He's become your crazy uncle who shows up at Thanksgiving and always has a new concoction or business idea," Cowherd said. "If they lose tomorrow night, he may do an in-season darkness retreat. I mean, that's where we at, and that is where we are at with Aaron Rodgers..."

"Forget the wins. Look at the completion percentage every year, 71-69-65-61; the passer rating last four years. 121, 111, 91, 85 like that is, there's no argument there. Cayenne pepper water is not turning that decline around, and they play Houston tomorrow."

The New York Jets lost their fifth consecutive of the season on Sunday against the 1-6 New England Patriots. Rodgers threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns, but the Jets couldn't move past the same team they beat in Week 3.

He was dealing with several issues last week, including his knee and hamstring, but Rodgers said that he found the "fountain of youth" ahead of the Texans game on Thursday.

What did Aaron Rodgers say about this 'fountain of youth'?

Aaron Rodgers made some noise on Tuesday after he said that he received something from his teammate.

"T-Mo gave me a little 'fountain of youth' he said he's been taking for a while," Rodgers said, via NFL.com.
"All legal, of course. ... He's been taking like cayenne pepper and water, so he gave me some before the game. Felt pretty good, but I've been kind of gassing him up that's why I'm feeling so good. I'm not sure how much that's playing a factor."

This week didn't start well for Aaron Rodgers, as he was listed as a limited participant in the first practice session. Tuesday was more positive for him as he was listed as a full participant. If this trend continues, Rodgers will likely be good to go against the AFC South leaders.
