The Pittsburgh Steelers have booked their place in the playoffs, but whether they will have any momentum as the sixth seed in the AFC is up for debate. Pittsburgh fell to a fourth consecutive loss on Saturday night as Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals took care of business in a 19-17 win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

For the Steelers, meanwhile, the loss capped off a miserable run to end the regular season. Former NFL safety Ryan Clark, who played for the Steelers for half a decade, had more than a few biting comments for the team after the loss to Cincinnati.

During Saturday's ESPN broadcast, Clark went on a furious rant, saying:

"They are bad football team right now. When you say bad football team, people are going to think of some of the bottom dwellers that are attempting to get the first round pick or the first draft pick. It's not that but amongst the 12 teams, or the 14 teams who still have an opportunity to play, the Pittsburgh Steelers limp into the playoffs being the team that's playing the worst of all of them.

"There is no winning for this team. And as much as we love Mike Tomlin, we have to be honest. It is year after year of showing promise, of giving hope and then falling flat early on in the playoffs. There has to be some change in that pattern."

As things stand, the Steelers will have to go up against the AFC North champion Baltimore Ravens. However, if the Las Vegas Raiders manage to beat the Los Angeles Chargers later today, Pittsburgh will have the opportunity to take on the banged-up Houston Texans in the first round.

Going up against Baltimore will be a tough task given the fact that the defense has struggled over the last four weeks. Pittsburgh allowed 400 yards a game in three of its previous four losses but restricted Joe Burrow's Bengals to 314 yards of offense on Saturday night.

There is also the question of how much of a short leash Russell Wilson will be on since Justin Fields performed admirably in the early weeks of the regular season. Wilson finished the game against the Bengals by going 17-of-31 for 148 yards and a touchdown that came in the fourth quarter.
