Former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton sent a strong message to Jason Whitlock for his distasteful take on Joy Taylor.
Hair stylist Noushin Faraji had accused several big names in sports media of "misogynistic" and "racist" environment in the workplace. She had accused Joy Taylor of mistreating her on both a personal and professional level.
Following the accusation, Jason Whitlock made disrespectful comments about Taylor. However, former NFL star Cam Newton slammed Whitlock for his remark on the Fox Sports 1 host.
On January 17, Newton shared his opinion on Whitlock's comments against Taylor in the episode of 4th & 1 with Cam Newton. The former NFL star said (58:38):

"I'm gonna put both of y'all motherf**kers, Jason Whitlock and Steve Kim in the YouTube movement. I don't do none of this, these name calling and all that sh*t. I put like this, bro, if I see you all, I ask is keep that same energy, because I'm gonna tell you this as a former athlete talking to a person, giving this person energy, who, Oh, you are a former athlete, Jason High School teammate with Jeff, George the Ball State.
"Yeah, that's cool, but you ain't me. You never was that guy. Mr. Kim. Simp, cool, keep that same energy when I see you... It's like these motherf**kers are haters, bro. Like real shit. Like this motherfucker gets a back compliment to the whole Fox Postgame show," he added.
Newton did not hold back on expressing his take on the matter.
