Patrick Mahomes and his family got jolted after his father Pat Mahomes Sr. was found guilty in a DWI arrest from February earlier this year. As per reports, it was Mahomes Sr.’s third such arrest, but fans deem the sentence to be too lenient.
A few days after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, Pat Mahomes Sr. was arrested in Texas and was charged with a felony in February. In August, Mahomes Sr. pleaded guilty to the charges, and on Sept. 23, the court sentenced him.

Many fans expressed their anger at the sentencing.

“I hate that he just keeps getting a slap on the wrist,” wrote another fan.
“His DL should be suspended 10 years or revoked all together. Based on his comments he clearly doesn’t take any responsibility for his actions,” wrote a fan.
