Former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson had a hilarious couple's costume. Belichick was a fisherman while Hudson was a mermaid, and the two took pictures by the ocean.

NFL fans seem to love the idea and how the couple executed it.

Belichick took this year off from coaching in the NFL after failing to secure a head coaching position after he and the New England Patriots mutually agreed to split ways.

How did Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson meet?

Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson started dating earlier this year, with TMZ Sports confirming their relationship in June.

According to the report, Belichick and Hudson first met in 2021 on a flight from the Boston area bound for Florida. The two bonded over Hudson's philosophy project she was working on.

The two swapped contact information and stayed friendly for several months. But, following Belichick's split with Linda Holliday in 2022, the two became more than friends.

“Jordon is bright and ambitious and pretty well organized," one source previously told PEOPLE about their relationship. "It’s easy to see that Bill could become infatuated with her. She is young and attractive and interesting. I don’t know what she wants from him but they seem to be enjoying each other and like doing many of the same things.”

TMZ Sports claims Hudson attended Patriots games during the 2022 and 2023 NFL seasons to support Belichick. The two then took their relationship public and have since been spotted out at numerous places.

Belichick coached the Patriots for 24 seasons, winning six Super Bowls.
