"This is not good": NFL fans react to Diontae Johnson's cryptic tweet after low snap count in Ravens vs Bengals game

After two games with the Baltimore Ravens, speculation around Diontae Johnson's happiness with his new team sparked on social media. NFL fans raised eyebrows after the veteran wide receiver shared a cryptic tweet, which he later deleted.

"It's always two sides to a story 🤷🏾‍♂️," he tweeted on Friday.

While the tweet is deleted now, that didn't stop fans from reacting. They were concerned about Johnson's message and started talking about what could be next for the wide receiver and the Ravens.

"Oh no. This is not good," one fan said.
"Bros reputation gonna nosedive if he keeps it up lol. You just arrived in Baltimore and got a great win and you pouting," another fan said.
"Looked like Lamar was pissed at him after his catch that went for negative yardage. Gonna be an interesting situation going forward," another fan wrote.

Others criticized Johnson for 'whining' after his team got a huge win while others mocked him for his blunder during Thursday night's game.

"Imagine having your offense put up 30+ points and whining about it," one fan wrote.

After leaving the Pittsburgh Steelers to join the Carolina Panthers in March, Diontae Johnson was traded to the Ravens before the trade deadline. The player wasn't targeted a single time against the Denver Broncos in Week 9 despite playing 17 of 57 snaps.

Not much changed in Week 10, with Johnson getting just two targets. He slipped while reaching for one pass and couldn’t complete it. His only reception was a six-yard catch, which could’ve helped the Ravens, but Mike Hilton stopped him, preventing a field goal attempt.

What is Diontae Johnson's role with the Ravens?

Once the Diontae Johnson trade was completed, NFL insider Josina Anderson reported that Johnson wasn't brought to Baltimore to take over from Zay Flowers or Rashod Bateman, as they will continue as WR1 and WR2.

"Even with Johnson’s obvious route-running skills, I’m told the organization is keenly aware that both Flowers and Bateman are currently 'top-20 producing wide receivers in the league.'"

In his last three games with the Panthers, Johnson caught 10 passes on 19 targets, producing 118 receiving yards for the struggling NFC South franchise.
