Jason Kelce is as serious and all-in with his media gigs as he was with his football career. The former Philadelphia Eagles center is set to take part in the pregame show that will run before the Green Bay Packers vs New Orleans Saints Monday Night Football game at Lambeau Field.
However, instead of choosing to wear a normal set of suit and pants, he decided to go over the top and donned a Santa Claus costume complete with a huge black belt and a bag of goodies. To kick off the show, Santa Kelce sang a modified "Silent Night" while also giving a shoutout to his MNF Countdown cohosts.
Some NFL fans were thoroughly amused by his costume, while some felt he was just trying to draw attention to himself and stay relevant among NFL fans even though his career as a player was over.

One fan felt his over-the-top costume was plain annoying.
"This guy is so annoying"
However, another fan felt that Jason Kelce looked cool in the Santa costume.
"He’s so cool, his brother is not"
Other fans also chimed in with their divided reactions to Kelce's costume on X (formerly, Twitter). A couple of fans did not think Kelce's costume was all that amusing.
"Why are the Kelce brothers so desperate for attention?" one fan asked rhetorically.
"If he was in Philly like this they’d still boo him." another fan said.
However, a couple of fans praised Jason Kelce for spreading some holiday cheer.
"Jason Kelce definitely came correct for the holidays! His festive spirit is on full display this season." one fan said.
"Santa Kelce out here delivering touchdowns and holiday cheer—NFL just got way more festive. 🎅🏈✨" one fan said.
Travis and Jason Kelce had different revelations about Santa Claus
During a recent episode of the brothers' podcast "New Heights" released on Thursday, Dec. 19, a caller asked the two brothers about how they found out that Santa Claus was not real and if the revelation was "traumatic" for them.
Travis revealed that despite Jason being the elder and him having been disillusioned earlier, did not ruin Travis' childhood innocence and his naive belief in Santa. Travis shared how he found it out.
"Well, Jason didn't tell me," Travis confessed on the show. "I figured it out on my own when every single present had mom's handwriting on it."
Meanwhile, Jason shared that he found out the truth about Santa in elementary when a classmate told him.
