Josh Allen turned a lot of heads after the Buffalo Bills secured a 31-7 win over the Denver Broncos in the first game of wild-card Sunday. The NFL MVP candidate went off on Sean Payton and Co., but some fans took issue with an interaction between the quarterback and referee Bill Vinovich on the sideline.
Right after cameras caught this moment, plenty of fans took to social media to question why a referee walked directly to Allen to have a conversation in the middle of the game.
"Most coddled player in the league. Unreal," one fan said.

"This is pretty wild even with context," another fan said.
"A referee going all the way to the bench to apologize to a player for missing a penalty is insanity," another fan said.
Other fans mentioned Patrick Mahomes, saying that if the Chiefs' quarterback was in this position, everybody would be losing their mind.
"If this was Mahomes we might have had to shut down this website," NFL writer Matt Verderame wrote.
"this is actually bizarre lol," another fan said.
Josh Allen and Co. scored 31 unanswered points to take the game after Bo Nix and Troy Franklin opened the scoreboard for the Denver Broncos. The Bills confirmed that they're one of the best teams in the league ahead of a high-flying matchup against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.
The quarterback was pumped up after winning another wild card matchup but told his teammates their job wasn't done.
"We earned the right to another week," Allen said in a video shared by the Bills. "Let's keep it going."
Josh Allen revealed what referee told him during Broncos game
After the game was over, Josh Allen told reporters what conversation transpired between himself and referee Bill Vinovich. Allen was upset over a non-call on Pat Surtain II's illegal actions against Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid in the end zone.
The right call would have allowed Buffalo a first-and-goal inside the Broncos 5-yard line, but that didn't happen. After seeing and listening to a furious Allen, Vinovich went to calm him down.
"I wasn't happy with what was going on," Allen said. "I was yelling a little bit. He just said 'Don't be yelling.' So, my bad. Sorry to Bill."
The Bills didn't need this call to win this game, however, as they were a well-oiled machine against a nervous and static Broncos team.
