A new video of running back Ezekiel Elliott training has made its way around social media and Cowboys fans have something to say about it.

Running back Ezekiel Elliott was released by the Dallas Cowboys last week and is now waiting to see where free agency will take him. A recent training video of the former Ohio State standout surfaced on social media and fans aren't sure what to think.

The running back is seen in a park training while wearing gray sweatpants, a red sweatshirt and sunglasses. The short clip shows him running around upside-down trash cans as someone in the background yells at him to go faster and be sharper.

The video was posted on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon by J.Hicks, a fitness trainer and movement specialist. As movement is integral to a running back's performance, that's likely the reason why Elliott chose to train with him.

However, Dallas Cowboys fans were unsure of what to make of the video. One fan said that it looked like a skit and not a real training session. Others felt that his level had dropped off significantly.

Some said it reminded them of when wide receiver Dez Bryant was released by the Cowboys and began training. Nevertheless, Ezekiel Elliott looks as though he will be ready whenever he does sign with a new team.

In need of a backup running back for Pollard, the Dallas Cowboys signed Ronald Jones this week on a one-year deal. He featured in six games for the eventual champion Kansas City Chiefs last season.

The 25-year-old started his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he played four seasons and won Super Bowl LV. He will now try and bounce back after a slow season in 2022 and make an impact with the Cowboys offense.
