Jason and Travis Kelce's mother Donna voiced her opinion on the controversial Paris Olympics opening ceremony. The act reportedly mocked the Last Supper, receiving backlash from many around the world.
Donna Kelce, however, stood by the act.
Donna shared a post on Facebook, which spoke about the effects of the lack of proper education. Calling out underlined homophobia, the shared post also spoke about the ceremony's historical context.
"If you have any knowledge of the Greek origin of the Olympics and the French’s rich history of theater you would have gotten this. However, because of your veiled homophobia, some of you can’t discern factual information. Stop mindlessly sharing posts and do some research," the post read.

Other fans, however, were unhappy with Mama Kelce. Most people seemed "tired" of the Kelce family, while others linked her comments and views to Taylor Swift, who is dating Travis Kelce.
"The Kelce family needs to go away," one user wrote.
One X/Twitter user even connected it to Kelce's new Hollywood links:
"She’s been touched by the hand of Hollywood. Sad!"
"Tay-Tay told her to say that," another NFL fan wrote.
"Sadly she has become a tool of Hollywood, much like Travis." a fan said.
People also said they didn't need her opinion.
"So much for her 15 minutes of fame," one fan wrote.
"Who cares what she thinks. She's no one," another user added.
"I for one do not give 2 shits what Donna Kelce thinks. She’s probably an agnostic," a user said.
"Who cares what she thinks. I don't see why she is saying anything about anything, and why would anyone care what she is saying," another added.
Donna Kelce is yet to respond to the backlash on social media.
Unlike Travis Kelce's mother Donna, Brett Favre, Pat McAfee condemned the Paris Olympics opening ceremony
While some stood by the Paris Olympics opening ceremony, NFL personalities such as Brett Favre, Pat McAfee and Harrison Butker weren't impressed.
Though indirect in his approach, Favre called out Senator Mitt Romney for praising the controversial Last Supper parody on X.
McAfee, who was called out for his comments, stated that he was only interested in focusing on the athletes. As per the NFL media personality, one can only hope that the Olympics ceremony doesn't stop anyone from supporting athletes.
