Todd Gurley is one of the more underrated running backs of his era with his combination of speed and excellent hands. Now, it looks as though we won't see the former University of Georgia star play another down in the NFL.
In a recent appearance on the NFL Network, Gurley told host Andrew Siciliano that he’s done playing despite not officially retiring.
As Siciliano noted, the running back's Twitter activity suggested that he is “calling it quits.”
The running back responded:

“I don’t think there’s any question about that one."
The NFL Network host subsequently asked for clarification about him being done playing in the league.
Gurley said:
“Yeah, most definitely.”
Despite not turning his official retirement papers to the league, we've seen the last of the 28-year-old on an NFL field.
