Tom Brady has accomplished everything there is in the NFL and now he is trying his hand at the NHL under the watchful eyes of Tie Domi and Max Domi. While the current FOX commentator is unlikely to take up the sport at a professional level, he showed his competitive spirit and athletic ability on ice as he learned how to skate.

In a video posted by NHL's X account, Tie Domi can be heard asking Tom Brady,

"Got the hang of it?"

As the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback used a red skating assistant to go around the rink, the NHL legend took a jab at his son and professional hockey player Max Domi, taunting him that the former NFL player would catch him. Tie Domi said,

"Max … he's coming for you Max!

Tom Brady was humble enough to admit that it was not likely to happen anytime soon, and perhaps in a bid for self-preservation pleaded with Max Domi,

"Come on, Max! Day 1!"

You can watch the whole hilarious exchange below.

Tom Brady's foray into the NHL could come in a different form

Tom Brady has worked to expand his business interests after retiring from professional football. He is currently on a multi-million dollar contract with FOX Sports covering their NFL games.

Other than that, he has invested in multiple sports franchises across the world. He is part owner of Birmingham City FC, a soccer club in England. He also owns an eponymous racing team in the UIM E1 World Championship. In the USA, he recently became a minority stakeholder with the Raiders. This shows that he is interested in ownership across sports and sees Las Vegas as a potential market.

The Vegas Golden Knights play in that area in the NHL even though they are owned by a different group than who owns the NFL franchise. There are established hockey teams in Boston and Tampa Bay as well (Bruins and Lightning, respectively), the two places where Tom Brady played in his NFL career.

For the moment, his interaction with Tie Domi and Max Domi should suffice as an introductory lesson to hockey. However, given the portfolio the former NFL GOAT has created as an owner of professional sports franchises in the two years he has retired from professional football, it is not a far reach to say that he could be involved in such a capacity within the NHL as well in the future.
