Tom Brady and Bill Belichick built a dynasty with the New England Patriots for nearly two decades. Brady departed New England after the 2019 NFL season and Belichick agreed to part ways with the organization four years after.
Belichick's abundance of success would have easily led to him being hired by another NFL team this offseason but that shockingly did not happen. Brady has spoken and shared Belichick's coaching methods and what makes him one of the best coaches ever.
On Tuesday's episode of "The Stephen A. Smith Show," Brady said that he felt it was a 'no-brainer' that Belichick would have been hired this offseason.
“If I would look at any of these organizations with head coaching vacancies, Bill Belichick is a no-brainer," said Brady.

The NFL legend discussed Belichick's coaching style and leadership. He added that Belichick's ability to get his team ready each week during the season is unlike any other coach which makes him one of the best.
"Now, he's going to come and he's going to be authoritative and he's going to have his own way of doing things and you gotta be OK with that. But when I'm looking at a coach to prepare a team, he's an incredible coach."
Despite the rumored rift between them, Brady still gave his former coach credit for what he has accomplished in his career.
Tom Brady gave his thoughts on Bill Belichick's transition to media
Tom Brady and Bill Belichick will both transition to media this season. Brady will join the FOX Sports broadcast alongside Kevin Burkhardt. Belichick has since booked a few different media roles, including weekly appearances on "The Pat McAfee Show" and NFL Network's "The Insiders."
While speaking with Stephen A. Smith, the seven-time Super Bowl champion spoke about Belichick's transition from being one dealing with the media to becoming part of the media.
"The difference is, they paid him to coach. They didn't pay him to talk. Now they're paying him to talk. So he's going to do what he's being paid for, right? And he realized, that every time he talked, when a coach - the only thing he could do is get you into problems, right? Because the last thing we wanted to do as an athlete was [to] go out there and tell all those players on the other team exactly what our plan was. I would get all the clippings from every local reporter that we were going to play. So we were playing the Jets. I had all the New York papers sent at our football facility, all the quotes from all the Jets players over the course of the whole week. Because, well, because they're going to tell you what they're going to do."
Brady also added that Bill Belichick's extensive experience with communicating game plans to players will help him in his new role.
