The AFC West franchise fired general manager Tom Telesco to start a new project after a poor 2024 NFL season (4-13, last in the division).
Fans had a lot to say upon learning this news. As soon as everybody learned that the Silver and Black are in search of a new general manager, they took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their impressions. Some even said that Tom Brady was behind this franchise overhaul.

"Brady is cleaning house," one fan said.
"Raiders are completely clearing house. Guess the GOAT and the new owners want a complete fresh start with their own guys. New culture incoming? How does someone get a job in the front office? Asking for a friend," another fan said.
"Brady effect! He's cleaning house!" another fan wrote.
Others speculated about who would take the job, even mentioning Deion Sanders and Bill Belichick to fill in the position.
"Louis Riddick/Deion Sanders with Ran Carthon apart of the front office would be a media/Raider fan dream," one fan said.
Antonio Pierce left the Raiders with a 9-17 record after taking over for the last nine games of the 2023 season. The former New York Giants player initially made a good impact on the squad, but after their four-win 2024 season, he's now available for other franchises.
NFL analyst says Tom Brady could make shocking decision on broadcasting career to focus on Raiders
Tom Brady is still in his first season as an NFL analyst with FOX, but that journey could be coming to an end if he decides to focus on his job with the Raiders. It was reported that Brady would have a prominent role in the team's decisions and this could make him hit pause on his nascent broadcasting career. At least that's what Mike Florio believes.
Florio joined the 'Dan Patrick Show' to discuss Brady's options after his voice became important for the Raiders' majority owner Mark Davis.
He said that he can't be a great commentator and a team owner at the same time, meaning he'd have to make a choice. That said, Florio adds that Tom Brady could still keep both positions and do "whatever the hell he wants."
This is an intriguing situation, but the seven-time Super Bowl champion has the last word.
