Tom Brady retired very recently and has potentially already discovered a post-NFL career in modeling. He once joked that he would recreate an iconic photo of himself posing in underwear for Brady Brand.

Now that the post has the requisite amount of likes and Brady suddenly has a lot of free time, the brand casually reminded the retired quarterback of his promise.

Brady obliged, asking his fellow retired ex-teammates if he was doing the modeling thing properly.

While it's a fine modeling job, it's hard not to notice that the former Super Bowl winner looks a little sad. He did recently go through a divorce and a disappointing season in the NFL. The quarterback also had to decide whether or not to retire, a potentially depressing decision.

Nevertheless, it definitely seems as if Brady isn't fully enjoying the retired life just yet. It could also be that the Super Bowl (a game Brady frequently played in during his illustrious career) is coming up and he's sitting at home, eliminated and retired.

Is Tom Brady going to stay retired this time?

Tom Brady announced his retirement with a video tweet, making sure to specify that he was retiring for good this time:

"I’ll get to the point right away. I’m retiring. For good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time so when I woke up this morning I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first."

Normally, retirement is always "for good," but Brady's reversal casts doubt on this decision. Aside from his own words, there are good reasons to believe that he really is done.

He enjoyed (or didn't enjoy) the worst year of his career in 2022. His team finished under .500 and barely made it into the playoffs. They were then soundly defeated by the Dallas Cowboys.

There wasn't a lot of good in the 2022 season for Brady, so it's probably best to officially call it a career. It could get worse if he continues playing, something he definitely doesn't want.
