Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers stunned many when they won in Week 17 and clinched the NFC South title. Despite a dismal season, they have qualified for the playoffs.

Many thought Brady was done and should retire, but the Buccaneers quarterback silenced all his detractors. He threw for 432 yards and three touchdowns against the Carolina Panthers. Brady had some words for those who doubted him after the incredible performance.

Here's what Brady said in his weekly on his “Let’s Go!” Podcast with Jim Gray:

“I know people (say), ‘Tom you should’ve retired. You should’ve done this or done that, That’s okay. People can have a lot of feelings about those or opinions and so forth."

Tom Brady added:

"But I think for me, there’s always gratification when you make this commitment and you have a group of individuals that do the same and you see something pay off. That’s what life is about."

He continued:

"A lot resilience and overcoming different obstacles over the course of the year and ultimately coming together for a common goal. I learned this a while ago, There’s a lot of things that are said outside what’s between your ears."

It seems like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is not close to retiring and will continue to play football way beyond this season.

The Buccaneers will match up against the fifth seed in the NFC playoffs. The team is likely to be the Dallas Cowboys, but things could change in Week 18. However, the Bucs have the luxury of resting their starters in Week 18, since that game is meaningless for them.

Tom Brady is likely to leave the Buccaneers after this season

Tom Brady will be a free agent after this season and is likely to leave the Buccaneers. Teams like the Las Vegas Raiders and the New York Jets are rumored to be interested in him, and we might see Brady move there.

The Miami Dolphins' situation will also need to be monitored, as Tua Tagovailoa's future is uncertain due to head injuries. Brady would want a team that is ready to win now, considering that moving to the Jets or Raiders won't be bad.

It will be fascinating to see where Brady ends up after this season since it has the potential to alter the landscape of the whole NFL.
