Tom Brady's retirement from the NFL just keeps getting more interesting by the week.
The 45-year-old announced on Twitter that his "Brady Brand" of menswear will be a sponsor for the upcoming Le Mans race. In particular, the Porsche 963 Hypercar for Team JOTA.
It will be the 100th edition of the iconic race and the former NFL quarterback, who has been a racing fan for a while, is thrilled to be involved. His brand will be clearly displayed on the rear wing end plates.

It wasn't the idea of the sponsorship that had fans hysterical, it was Tom Brady's announcement. In a video posted to his Twitter account, Tom Brady announces the partnership while taking a jab at himself.
Brady said that when you think of him, you clearly think of speed. He then expressed his desire to drive the car himself, but was told that he needed to race the simulator first. In the video, he is seen crashing in the simulator and acting shocked that the car is a manual.
The reactions and replies to the seven-time Super Bowl winning quarterback's video were across the board.
Some suggested that he should become a Twitch streamer since he appears to enjoy online racing. Others were just shocked because they didn't expect Brady to team up with a car in Le Mans. Then there were those who pondered whether Brady was already looking for additional ways to make money after retiring from the NFL.
Tom Brady calls sponsorship deal an 'exciting opportunity' for his brand
Tom Brady is just the latest professional athlete to dip their toes into the racing world.
Others include former NBA champion Michael Jordan as the co-owner of NASCAR's 23XI racing amd Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith partnering with Jesse Iwuji Motorsports. There's also former NBA player Brad Daugherty's NASCAR team recently winning the Daytona 500. Brady's sponsorship in the Le Mans race is just the latest crossover.
After his announcement, he said that he has been a fan of auto racing for a while and that he feels it's a great opportunity for his menswear line to get involved:
"I have been a big fan of motor racing for a long time and for Brady to now be a part of Hertz Team JOTA as the future of motorsport apparel is an incredibly exciting opportunity."
The menswear line was launched in January 2022 and one of its first endeavors was partnering with college athletes for NIL deals. With an auto racing sponsorship in line for the brand, what will be next?
